So you’re a GIRL, with a boy’s name. If you’re boyish first name is paired with a traditional feminine middle name of any kind (EX: Marie, Elizabeth, Alexandra), then at least you have something traditionally feminine on your birth certificate to claim that you’re still a GIRL! If you don’t like having a boy’s call, you can always go by your middle name if it’s feminine. Both my first AND middle name are ‘traditionally’ masculine, and they’re both slowly growing in popularity for girls, unlike Lindsay, Madison, Ashley, or Taylor. They both have never been past #74 or even around #50 or #20 or definitely #10, especially Casey (my first name), my middle name (Quinn)’s most common rank was 75# and now it’s at #84 or something. Casey’s most common rank was 80# in the 80’s, and now it’s ranked at 916#. I’m a girl BTW!
If you really hate your *first* name, I would choose Sophia. It’s really up to you though.
