If streaming a 4k video requires 25 megabits per second, does that mean a gigabit per second internet can stream 40 4k videos at once?

    You'd be pushing it a bit, because there's always going to be some overhead with multiple streams, so you'd probably only get 22 - 23 streams.

    not from the same source. most websites limit the link per IP address.

    but yes, basically. however, keep in mind, 25Mbps is the MINIMUM. some sites may encode differently...
