Is it right to ask a surgeon for before and after photos?

If you were thinking of having a cosmetic procedure, would you expect to see before and after photos of the surgeons work before deciding to have surgery? If you were told that you could not see them due to privacy laws, how would that make you feel?

You can ask, but you're only going to be shown photos of patients who elected to share. I'd be hesitant to "buy" without seeing some examples of past work, although every individual is different and your results may not look anything like theirs.

    Yes.

Also: tell them you want the parts they took out.

Generally they'll have these to show - they won't be identifiable / with names etc

It's fair, just go online and check their customers. You can search the doctors names and check reviews on google

I would walk away. They could black out identifiable features.
