It's hard to say. Trump's base really wouldn't care. Trump said he could shoot someone and wouldn't lose any fans, and I think he was right about that. (He didn't say he wouldn't get caught, or prosecuted, or that he'd get away with it, only that he wouldn't lose any fans!)
Trump's fans don't care if he's a crook or if he shreds the Constitution. They want what they want, what he promised them, and if he has to bend the laws a bit that's fine with them.
We do know for sure that Trump wouldn't be removed from office, so the entire exercise would be just a political circus, like Clinton's impeachment.
My feeling is that Pelosi could at least start an 'inquery' to expose facts. This would have no effect at all on Trumpies, except to validate Trump's claims that the Dems and the Media are out to get him. But it might affect less hopeless Americans, those who still care about right and wrong.
