is it real that a nvidia gtx 1050ti 4g is better than a nvidia gtx 1060 6gb... is it because a gpu with TI is better than a one without TI?

No that's not real and that's not correct, The GTX 1060 is significantly faster than the GTX 1050ti. The 'ti' name only applies when comparing a cards that are within the same sub-category, such as comparing a GTX 1070 to GTX 1070ti. The GTX 1070ti is faster than the GTX 1070 but it's slower than the GTX 1080.

Generally the confusion is with the 3gb GTX 1060 in comparison to the GTX 1050ti because the 1050ti has more VRAM.

Generally I don't recommend the 6gb GTX 1060, 3gb GTX 1060, GTX 1050ti, nor the GTX 1050 because they aren't as good of a value as cards like the newer GTX 1660 or the RX 580. For instance the RX 570 is a much better value than the GTX 1050ti but the exception is you can run a GTX 1050ti with a 300w power supply whereas you need a 450w power supply with a PCI-E power connector for the RX 570. The RX 570 is also cheaper than the GTX 1050ti on the 2nd hand market.

If you're in the market to buy a used card, please be aware that there are fake Nvidia GTX 750ti, GTX 1050, and GTX 1050ti cards at sites like ebay and aliexpress. Generally these fake cards don't have a brand name such as Asus, EVGA, MSI, Zotac, etc.

The "Ti" cards are just a re-release of a specific model with improved specs, so in your case the 1050 Ti is just a re-release of the 1050.

The 1050 Ti is quite a ways behind the 1060 still in performance.

Within the same family (1050 or 1060, etc), the TI model is always faster. However once you change models (1050 vs 1060), that does not apply the same way. The second last number (60 of the 1060) of the model usually indicates a better GPU and faster performance than any of the lower model numbers (1050)

Not always. The 1050 TI is cheaper and does the job as expected, but is slower than the 1060.
