    Congress can impeach him.

He does not have full control. Only a DICTATOR HAS THAT. You have a Democracy so there are others that have to agree with the Potus on any action taken. There is more than one key to the washroom.

Once he is removed from office he no longer controls the military.

    Congress!

That's why the military swears to protect and defend the Constitution(not fealty to the president)! Congress has the power to remove a president by constitutional means! If a president is removed from office by impeachment it's the military's duty to remove him!

Being commander-in-chief does not mean he can make the military do whatever he wants. He is obligated to exercise that authority in a legal manner.

    Gosh I have no idea.

Could it be that once impeached and removed, Trump would be no longer in control of the military? Like, at that very moment of removal, control of the military would shift to his successor, likely Mike Pence?

No, no. That just couldn't be how it works.

    Congress.................

Huh? The military has nothing to do with that and are not Trump's personal protection force against the rest of the government and nation that he works for.

Congress. If you think the US military would back Trump in a coup, I think you're sorely mistaken. Those folks are professional citizen soldiers, not the patsies of some junta.
