    All the metallic oxide like Na20 will produe an alkali ,where as all non metallic oxide like CO2,SO2 and NO2 will produce Carbonic acid , sulphuric acid and Nitric acid respectively

    CO2.......It actially creates a weak acid (carbonic). Seltzer water or sodas get their slightly tingly taste from the carbonic acid that forms when CO2 is dissolved in water......and when you leave the soda out and the CO2 escapes that tingly taste is lost and people say the drink has "gone flat."

    .. 1 Na2O +1 H2O ---> 2 NaOH

    .. 1 K2O + 1 H2O ----> 2 KOH

    .. 1 BaO + 1 H2O ---> 1 Ba(OH)2

    the correct answer is CO2
