Best Amp to pair with Kicker 12” 2 Ohm Sub?

Just got a KICKER CompR 12" Dual-Voice-Coil 2-Ohm Loaded Subwoofer Enclosure, wondering what is the best affordable amp to pair with it, preferably around $150 to $200

You need a monoblock amplifier that produces 1000 watts at a 2 ohm load.

Maybe when you have more than $200, you can come back on here and we'll recommend you a REAL high quality amplifier. Right now, we can't find a monoblock that produces 1000 watts at a 2 ohm load for only $200. The highest we can find for $200 is up to 800 watts at a 2 ohm. As the impedance drops lower on the amplifier, higher current will be produced. Cheap amplifiers lie about its current output.

why 1000? It's a 500w sub. I see nothing saying he needs an amp for a pair.

One CompR d2 just needs an amp that's 500w rms.

With a dual 2 you have two impedance options -- either wiring the coils parallel for 1 ohm which would require a 1 ohm stable mono amp:

Or, wire the coils in series for 4 ohms and use a bridged 2 channel amp:

The best amp will be a mono amp that doesn't overwhelm the rest of your system and suck more power than your car can supply. Go to a stereo shop and see how loud you can comfortably stand to listen to and decide wisely to not buy more than you can actually use. You asked for "best", not loudest.
