For starters, I don't believe any sort of war or even conflict will happen. The only person encouraging war is Trump. He doesn't have the support of his party, the leaders of the military, or our ally nations. Hell, even the nations that own the tankers that were 'supposedly' attacked by Iran aren't into it.
But to answer your question... No, but I do believe it would lead to far worst circumstances than what the average American imagines. China is an economic ally of Iran, while Russia maintains close ties. Neither nation can entirely standby if the US provokes conflict. I don't think they would outright attack the US, but they may dispatch "peace keeping" forces to the nation, which would make it difficult for the US to attack since we could not risk hitting their forces. Then, in two years, if Trump were to lose, the next President would certainly just pull us straight back out.
