I have 1 32 cal, 5 shot, Saturday Night Special, that has been in my family since 1922. I only had 5 bullets for it, until my Son sent me a box for my B-day. They are very hard foo find.

So, I can say, that the last time I got ammo, it was a gift.

When my parents passed away I inherited the house and ALL CONTENTS. That included a fully stocked gun room w/tools and enough ammunition to last my lifetime. The only guns I don't have ammo for are those that have been permanently decommissioned for safety or legal reasons..

p.s. - I had to get a collector's licence to be able to keep some of them.
