Does a loop on a roller coaster feel similar to doing a back flip in gymnastics?

no. its completely different. a loop on a roller coaster feels like theres more gs. you can feel it in your head sometimes when your drunk. where as you can do normal backflips all day when your drunk and not feel sick.

I no longer do gymnastics but I can still perform a back flip and I have been on many rollercoasters with loops. They are completely different from each other. For one, as you experience loops on a rollercoaster you are also experiencing g’s. G-force can best be explained by that sinking feeling in your stomach on a ride or “pressure” you may feel. You are more prone to feeling dizzy on a ride than during a backflip. That being said, if you are worried about how a loop may feel, it goes by so fast you barely feel anything at all.
