I am going on a trip and need to take my computer I am flying United I have a lithiumbatter and can not get it at all?

    Internal batteries are not subject to the same scrutiny as external power packs, use the internal power source and take a cable to plug it to the mains when possible.

    Leave it, buy another when you get there.

    Or Ship it overnite express.

    My sister took hers and the TSA damaged it beyond repair "testing" it to see if it was a bomb.

    You can fly with your laptop in your carry on bag, and that includes the battery.

      Your laptop, including its mounted battery, may also be in checked luggage.
