Why don’t people start their own business instead of complaining about the system and being miserable?

You need to have like 100k to start a tiny business who the hell has that money? Not the people who the system exploits that's for sure.

Because the purchasing power of your prospective customers is finite. They may like your product and need it, but that doesn't mean they have the money to buy it

One of those options involves a lot of work.

    Maybe because of this:

What is the Small Business Failure Rate? 20% of small businesses fail in their first year, 30% of small business fail in their second year, and 50% of small businesses fail after five years in business. Finally, 70% of small business owners fail in their 10th year in business.

Ed you’re such a weirdo lol. No, I actually have a small business with three stores that are doing well. One of the lucky ones. Of course I’m retired now and my boys look after it.

Because businesses need employees in order to grow, right? If everyone makes their own business, then everyone will be stuck as only a small business they are running on their own and that's it; there won't be anyone to hire.

So if you want it to grow, then there needs to be people who don't start their own business and are open to being employed by you... And if you aren't good to them and leave them "complaining about the system," then you really suck and are ungrateful to their being there to help you earn that achievement. (Just because they get paid doesn't mean employees should be the only ones showing gratitude.)

Also... creating a successful business that isn't a waste of time also takes the talents, etc to do that kind of thing and not everyone has that in them. New businesses fail more often than not, and usually at a loss. You seem to think it's just so easy for anyone to do.

why don't people just start their own country instead of complaining about laws and taxes?

Complaining about the system and being miserable is far, far easier.

Starting your own business doesn’t magically make everything great. You have to have or do something that someone actually wants. And, let’s face it, you are not likely to really come up with anything new - so, you still have to be able to make enough people want your “wheel” with all the others already out there.

Because they don't want to take the risk with their money (and whatever else they can borrow) but for some reason those who do take the risk are looked at as evil, greedy mo-fo's
