Should i wash ginger before use for a curry?

About the only thing you don't need to wash is a banana - as long as you are eating the whole thing. With any other fruit or vegetable that you cut into - the knife blade can bring bacteria from the outside (which you aren't eating) to the inside (which you are eating). Peeling would do the same thing - so go for the rinse.

You should peel it. The easiest way is using a teaspoon to scrape off the skin. Comes off very easily
