When moving across a country (Canada), what method do you use to ship your things? Can you ship by plane, and how?

I tried looking it up but all I got where moving companies who just gave me a price estimate but no information on HOW they were shipping things.

Land transport is usually far cheaper than air.

Most have to much stuff for few suitcases.

    Air shipping is expensive.

Most move it on the ground. By car or by truck.

If you desire to ship by plane call the airline Cargo department for procedures and rates.

How did you expect the movers to ship things? Ox cart?? They did in the 1800's

You can box it up and a freight company will transport it.one their trucks.

You can call a mover that will pack your stuff , load it onto a truck, transport it and also unload at your destination.

You can rent a truck and do it yourself.

Probably in a lorry / road transporter. But it depends how much you're moving, how quickly you want it moved, and how much you're willing to pay.
