Is it bad for a car if changed coolant type against car manufacturer?

It is not bad but make sure you have chosen the right coolant.

But Types yes mix the wrong types and they turn to jelly

the brand doesnt matter but make sure the type is the same. Depends on the car but most of the time youll be fine add some water

You can change Coolant types only after you have Flushed the cooling system. You should never Mix coolant types. The most common change is Dexcool to Universal Long Life. That's going from Orange to Green or Yellow. But as a rule you should stay with what the manufacturer says. If the car uses Red or Blue coolant, stay with it. European cars are more sensitive to coolant changes.
