What kind of spider is this? It was crawling on me and I see them all the time. *cringe* North ga?

  • Don't know, but it looks like a member of the family Lamponidae. I see plenty of these spiders, as I keep my property in a rural condition. I just carefully pick them up and flick them outside where they belong.

    But be careful, there is a technique involved, rather as with handling crocodiles.

    coloration LOOKS like a camel spider, but 'head' isn't big enough. IF you're worried, 'most' home improvement stores that sell lawn & garden stuff have a big reference book that has a whole section on bugs ......................
