Are Liverpool proof money can't buy success ?

There are other factors, obviously.

Otherwise the likes of Van Dijk, Salah, Sane, Firminho, Alisson, Fabinho, and others would have something other than money ?

Not to mention all those big money buys that came and went ?

But they did. Liverpool won the CL, that is success, they would not have if won it if they had not spent a **** load of money in the previous two transfer windows.

There hasn't been a team that has been successful not spent a lot of money, even Leicester spent more than Arsenal and Spurs the season they won the league, they were the fourth biggest net spenders.

It has always been that way and it always will, look back over the last 100 years of football and look at the teams that have been successful and what they have spent.

It is just how things are.

They won the CL, unlike Man City and MANU

no but shrewd transfer market activity DOES entitle you to win trophies.

Jurgen Klopp spent big on one guy and it was a master stroke.

They wanted what they wanted for that player and we happily paid them.

btw, get your facts straight punk!

2 trophies in 7 years and 3 trophies in 14 years.

Man City won that many this year unless you include the Community Shield then that’s 4 trophies in the 2018-19 season.

I am sure those Liverpool players you mention Monny would play for Liverpool for nothing because they love them so

They won the biggest trophy in club football weeks ago, if anything City and PSG prove the point more by not being able to reach a semi-final after billions spent, lol.
