Iranian FM defended Iran's right to execute homosexuals on "moral grounds", isn't one of the main principles "not to kill" in religion?

Depends on the Religion. Iran is Islamic. In Islam you can be killed for converting to Christianity.

You should take an hour or two to browse the Christer buybull. In short order you'll discover that not killing is as far from being a religious precept as refusing to wash is to being a basic rule of cleanliness.

Even America has death penalty for serious crimes.
@ Mark - I did not say homosexuality is a serious crime. I said death penalty is common in all countries. In Muslim countries, homosexuality is illegal and punishable by death.

"Thou shall not MURDER." Otherwise, as far as killing in the Abrahamic religions, all you have to do is open their respective books to know that isn't true.

NOT in the MUSLIM 'religion' ....................... you gets 'points' for killing non-Muslims ... ....................
Actually, the death penalty is most certainly NOT "common in all countries."
There are 195 countries. Of that number, 102 have completely abolished the death penalty, 32 still have it on the books, but have stopped carrying it out, and 6 have it only for special cases.
It's only still used in 55.
