Can I get a drivers license at 16 In Maryland with a GED or will I need to wait until I turn 18?

    The GED has nothing to do with obtaining a driving license, You have to be the legal age to drive and pass the written test and road test to obtain a license.

    Yes.

    I cannot see why the DMV has the right to force anyone to have a certain education just to get a drivers license.

    This information is all online at your state DMV web site. I'm not going to look it up for you since you are perfectly capable of doing it yourself.
