Can I get a drivers license at 16 In Maryland with a GED or will I need to wait until I turn 18?

The GED has nothing to do with obtaining a driving license, You have to be the legal age to drive and pass the written test and road test to obtain a license.

Yes.
I cannot see why the DMV has the right to force anyone to have a certain education just to get a drivers license.
