Let's say a full grown male boar with tusks escapes a farm and encounters a male coyote, who wins the fight?

If it's 1-1 the coyote can do very little to hurt the husky boar, but the boar is from a farm so it may not have the sense to whop the coyote.

If both are healthy and it's 1 vs 1 the boar wins no issues.

There are videos from Vietnam of large pitbulls getting gutted by raging boars with tusk. When dogs hunt boars they are supposed to have a vest on to protect themselves, boars will gut wolves, dogs, even big cats if they're not careful, so a coyote would be easy pickings.

    1 v 1 a boar can easily beat a coyote .

easily a boar can kill a coyote or even a wolf, the only way the coyote would win is if it was in its pack but in a 1 v 1 fight with no pack to help him the boar would win 99.9% of the time no doubt about it.

Coyotes are lone hunters, just like tigers, lions and leopards. Not even a tiger or lion can kill a boar most of the time. Coyotes are smaller than wolves and they can only kill small animals, not a boar.Domestic pigs do not have tusks. Only wild ones do. Selective breeding eliminated tusks from the domestic pig.

A coyote won't even try to take on a boar, they are not suicidal.

a boar living in a farm might not have learnt the necessary skills to defeat a coyote. moreover, coyotes generally hunt in pairs whenever they are after a larger prey. so chances of winning a fight are rare
