    I would strive for 98% - at least (because you did not give us enough information).

    52 times the percent that it’s worth. So if those previous tests are worth 80% of your total grade so:

    52(.80) = 41.6

    If you need a 65 to pass then 65 - 41.6 = 23.4

    Your final exam is worth 20% which is equal to .2.

    X = your final exam grade needed to pass.

    X(.20) = 23.4

    x = 117

    So in this scenario, you’ll need 117 just to pass.

    You should already know the answer. Just do your best. Study w/the smartest person in that class. 1 of my best teachers in HS figured the final exam to be about 40% The final exam is a culmination of all the work throughout the year/semester. However, if we failed to consistently try and/or did not do well throughout the semester/year, it's doubtful we would pass if we depended upon the final exam to do so.

    Depends what a passing grade is, and how much value the exam has towards it. If you've done any math class, you know how to do an average.
