Maybe window 10 setting restore option turned off, It possible your window 10 last version is corrupted. Maybe some file missing.

  • Also, Windows may have installed a major update along the way.

Because System Restore is not turned on and there are no restore points.

System Restore is disabled in Win 10 by default, so you have to manually turn it on and create a restore point. I'm guessing not many know that until it's too late.

Maybe you have system restore turned off

Maybe the previous restore point is corrupted

Try turning off your antivirus and running a restore again, sometimes AVs interfere with the restore process
