Is there such thing as general eye contacts?

This might sound really strange but is there a way to get contacts that anyone can use? There are reading glasses with different numbers so does that work with contacts too?

Nope there isn't such a thing as you need to be fitted for contacts by an optometrist. If you don't currently wear prescription glasses and you think that you need them or contacts, get an exam. If you cant see good up close, glasses will be better than contacts as you can get bifocals to wear all the time. If you do get contacts, you will still need glasses for backups and that is a lot more to spend. Glasses will be better for many reasons as it isn't a big deal to wear them all the time as you will get used to them!

    No. Does not exist.

All contact lenses have a specific prescription in them. Some have no power. They can change a person's appearance but they don't help their vision.
