Canada wants to ban single use plastics. Would it make a difference?

A very slight difference yes, and every little helps

Everything makes a difference. Maybe a small difference, but a whole bunch of small differences add up to one huge one.

They have a long history of relying on multi-use rubbers in remote cold Canada

It would make many things more expensive and less convenient, but it really is not going to benefit or change anything. Look what they've done to the price of cigarettes, and the harm they cause is undeniable, yet people still smoke.

Plastic ban includes other plastics products as well. Make a difference probably not what about paper, cans etc. Wanna make a difference put up "No litter signs", 250.00Fines, jail time.

It is, at least, a step in the right direction. Too little too late perhaps, only time will tell us that.
Right now, you eat, drink, and inhale plastic all day long. Wonder how good that stuff in all of that is for us?

Yes, banning things do make a difference. If it didn't make a difference, the detractors would not argue against it.
