Why are babies the carriers of the native language?

    that's the language they grow up with. This is why many households that have immigrant parents have their kids learning their native language without really teaching them.

    What language would that be?

    Babies babble, make noises and cry.

    The baby is a blank slate. Language is taught by the parents. Aside from a medical difficulty a baby is capable of speaking any language on earth.
