Here is what you do, is old school, but hey, it works.
Make a list on paper of 4 cellphone insurance companies you feel will work for you. On said list, cost upfront, cost per month, deductible to get repairs or replacements.
How many replacements or repairs per year.
Does insurance cover lost devices?
Do cracked screen repairs get fixed locally, or does the phone get sent off for repair. If so for how long?
Add anything else important to YOUR needs, as a must have, then decide.
This should narrow it down to either the carrier insurance or one of the third party insurance/warranty companies. If you paid for the phone using a credit card, you may have built in insurance coverage, another option to look at.
