Should I take my son to an ob/gyn because he hasn't gotten his period?

People generally start their periods at around 13-15, but my son is 16 and still hasn't gotten his period. He is in good health and isn't obese so it doesn't make sense to me why he's so late. My main concern is that he won't be able to have children one day.

That's really strange, I can't imagine why that would be.

Yes, do. A doctor can help you BOTH.

Boys/men don't get periods. Unless s/he is non-binary and has female parts, your question should be in the LGBTQ category. Just a suggestion.
