How simple life was. I miss quality-level entertainment- TV shows, movies, music, etc. It wasn't all watered-down and crappy and overrated and overhyped like it is now. I miss how people actually went out and functioned.
I miss a lot of old-school traditions and customs that were commonplace back in the '80s and '90s.
I miss how political correctness wasn't a big thing back in the '80s and '90s like it is now.
I miss how society wasn't consumed by technology back in the '80s and '90s. Things weren't all thrown-in-your-face back then like they are now.
Tech for the most part back in the '80s and '90s wasn't complicated like it is now.
I miss how people weren't so narcissistic and materialistic like they are now.
However, I do wish commercialized internet access had been around for the whole duration of these two decades- it wasn't officialized until 1995. I wish web viral sites like YouTube, Dailymotion and Metacafe, etc. and artist/writer community sites like DeviantArt had been around.
I miss how there wasn't such a big demand to learn how to utilize and keep up with current tech like there is now.
I kind of miss how MTV and VH1 used to actually be about music, and how they actually showcased music videos on TV.
I miss how the cost of living wasn't so much back in the '80s and '90s compared to now.
I miss my youth.
