Of course you are just a miserable troll and are being reported.
No, their normal body temp is a bit higher than ours, and they love to be warm, hence their tendency to nap in what we call "sun pools".
Sadly, we are into the time of year when the daytime sun in our sky is so high that the eave over our big south facing bay window blocks the sun and their favorite sun pools are gone until next winter.
There is one more downside to the approach of spring... on chilly nights, our younger Ocicat girl Viola crawls under the covers with me at night. We both really like that! But as the weather warms up, she is a smart kitty and does not want to get too warm at night, and my "undercover kitty" is gone until it cools down again.
The pic is how I woke up to find her one chilly November morning.
She and our older Ocicat girl Saphira (my profile pic) are just wonderful kitties, very loyal, loving, and well behaved. Just absolute joys to have around.
