Do horses in Westerns have bit parts?

A bit part is a role in which there is direct interaction with the principal actors and no more than five lines of dialogue. I'm pretty sure this only applies to humans -- since horses don't repeat lines of dialogue.
So the answer is no.

No; they are one solid unit; until they are digitized into video. In Video, a part of everything is a Bit.
