Thin lightbulb/ found in shops/garages?

Don’t know why I’m spacing on the name here but what are those thin round lights called that you would normally find in a garage or shop? Hopefully that makes sense to someone :)

Just to be contrary, I'm going to suggest Edison bulbs.

Adds heat, less than 1/3 as effective at making light from electricity, short lifespan, poor distribution...why would you recommend that? They're inferior in virtually every possible way.

The word is spelled fluorescent, not flourescent or florescent or flowerscent.

Florescent tubes. They come in various lengths. So measure the length.

    Fluorescent tubes.

Measure the diameter of the tube. 1.5" = T12 tube, 1 inch = T8. T stands for Tube, the number is the diameter in eighths of an inch.

Any home center will most likely have a tube to replace yours if they have failed. NOTE: if they all failed at once, then what has most likely happened is your ballast has failed. For that you'll need to do a bit of disassembly to get to it.

Fluorescent bulbs. However, I recommend replacing those old fluorescent fixtures with modern LED shop lights. The whole light fixture can often be purchased for the price of a couple of fluorescent bulbs.
