How hard is it for an American to go through Canadian Customs by land when taken a bus or train?

    Not very. Just make sure you bring your passport or enhanced driver's licence.

    Are you looking to go through the little checkpoint booth, or do you plan to take out the big building? Because an average bus would flatten the booth in an instant, but you'll have trouble bringing down the concrete structure with it. If you're looking for maximum damage, I'd recommend using a train.

      Canada is not terribly hostile to firearm possession. Their attitude is due to really bad treatment of Canadians bringing guns into the US, particularly New York.
      However, personal self-defense is not a valid reason to obtain a firearm permit in Canada.
