what is different between watch, see and look?

    Watch is over a period of time and you are deliberately looking at it.

    See is just what is in your field of view.

    Look is when you actively direct your eyes at it.

    This is not easy to explain or to learn, as there is a lot of overlap in meaning, but in general, we 'see' if our eyes are open, whether we are focusing on anything in particular or not.

    We 'watch' something that moves; we 'look at' an object like a picture or scenery.
