How can we be certain that scientists won’t open a portal to an alien world at CERN just like they did at the Blaxk Mesa Research Facility?

Because even though plenty of .micro black holes ha e been created at CERN for decades, so far NO magical portals or time warps ha e been created and Earth is STILL here. Ignorance and stupidity are VERY contagious and are at pandemic levels.

What is a portal? I heard this word often but no one defines it?

Our accelerators can't make a wormhole, if that is what you mean. There are loads of reasons why that is impossible, at least with present technology.

You do realize that Black Mesa Research Facility is part of the video game, don't you? If you don't realize that you need major therapy.

Since the game is a make believe the game designers are not constrained by laws of physics.

Because if CERN did, then they'd be absolutely thrilled, because their experiment did something no one expected it could, and created a new transportation system to another solar system instead of just boring old smashing atoms together!

It's the equivalent of if you discovered your car could change your adult diapers. It's not something your car was designed for, no one expected your car could do that, but somehow it has this random function that no one knew about or wanted, but it's there!

The Aliens are actively visiting my farm in Hanover, Indiana. I'm not worried about CERN and neither should you.

Because half life is a game. This is reality. And unlike our intergalactic compatriates we are HEAVILY underdeveloped and not advanced enough yet to see any kinda of breakthrough on that level. Unless by some miracle we did. In which case...were all probably ******.
