Over 100? not sure but it does help to not drink because it makes your liver and kidneys work harder

    Not necessarily.

I have heard of people over 100 swear by a glass of beer or wine nearly every day.

    It's all about moderation.

Every time a person over 100 is interviewed, generally on or near their birthday, they are asked about lifestyle choices, and not drinking alcohol seems to be a very consistent characteristic.

Sure, just as long as you never have more than one drink per day.

That's what my doctor said but he's never seen the size of the glasses I have.

Depends on the person and their genes. My grandmother's mother was an alcoholic and lived to be 102. My grandma enjoyed a beer or two EVERY DAY for years and is pushing 96.

    Not necessarily.

Google "Acciaroli". It's a 2000 person town in Italy where 300 people are over the age of 100 and 60 are over the age of 110. They eat rosemary, anchovies, smoke and drink plenty of wine.
