"One hit wonder" refers to a performer with one well-known popular piece and nothing else before or after is famous. It is not that they only have one song.

    Some examples-

KUNG FU FIGHTING — CARL DOUGLAS (1974)

    BABY GOT BACK — SIR MIX-A-LOT (1992)

AFTERNOON DELIGHT — STARLAND VOCAL BAND (1976)

    MICKEY — TONI BASIL (1982)

COME ON EILLEEN — DEXY'S MIDNIGHT RUNNERS.

"Macarena" – Los Del Rio (1996)

"Tainted Love" – Soft Cell (1982)

"I'm Too Sexy" – Right Said Fred (1991)

"Who Let the Dogs Out?" – Baha Men (2000)

    "Rico Suave" – Gerardo (1990)

    "99 Luftballons" – Nena (1984)

    Crazy - Gnarls Barkley

    There are many of them.
