Where are you advertising?? Do you have ads on sites where people/customers look for these items?? Amazon and eBay come to mind. As well as other internet sites - MSN, Yahoo, etc. Just building a web site isn't enough. People also have to know about your web site.

Speaking from experience, COMPETITION is the general problem with getting traffic to a new web site. For practically any topic, there are thousands of other web sites out there on the same topic. You can have great content, great SEO, and a great design -- and still not get traffic simply because there are so many other similar sites competing with you.

You can pay to get traffic from Google, Facebook, Youtube and others, but for most topics, the price is high. Even then, you are not guaranteed to get the traffic you want.

Any one of a number of reasons.

    1) Your design is terrible or non-professional

    2) You are not promoting your web site properly.

    3) Your products are not in demand or there is too much competition from larger players

Just setting up a web site is not enough - you have to take an active interest in promoting it, creating content that people want to come back to (a weekly blog column for example), becoming an expert in your field so people will seek you out.
