Sinning does not mean that we are always doing bad things, although for some humans, that is the situation, It means to miss the mark of God's standard of perfection.
8 But God recommends his own love to us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
We as humans miss the mark in three ways; because we inherited sin and death from Adam and Eve as it says in Romans 5:12.
That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned.
The second thing is that we inherited the tendency to do bad things
Look! I was born guilty of error,
And my mother conceived me in sin.* Psalm. 51:5
Third, we are in a world that entices humans to do bad things, and it is easy to fall prey to that destructive behavior
21 I find, then, this law in my case: When I wish to do what is right, what is bad is present with me. 22 I really delight in the law of God according to the man I am within, 23 but I see in my body another law warring against the law of my mind and leading me captive to sin’s law that is in my body.
This is the influence of this world ruled by Satan, which encourages evildoing and selfishness.
1 John 2:15-17
15 Do not love either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. 17 Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.
The friends we make, the entertainment we pursue, and what we think about can either encourage us to do good or bad.
Because of this Christians are encouraged to regularly think about and do things that are righteous. This is why the meetings that I go to at the Kingdom Hall is not just someone preaching to me, but we discuss the scriptures together and are encouraged to do what the scriptures say., children, teens and adults together. Doing so will remind us of how God wants us to live.
But it will not make us perfect, because we will get perfection when the new heavens and new earth comes in 2 Peter 3:13
"There are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell.”
The encouragement to do this is in the inspired scriptures:
8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things. 9 The things that you learned as well as accepted and heard and saw in connection with me, practice these and the God of peace will be with you.
