1. It is not easy to consume too much sugar by eating fruits
Fruit-contained sugar is mainly sucrose, fructose, and glucose. It's true that these sugars can be harmful when consumed in excess, but it's hard to overdo them with fruit.
Fruit fills us up so easily that we can't eat much.
2. Fruits give us other nutrients
Fruit contains not only sugar but many other nutrients that help us eat a balanced diet and maintain health in a way that many free-sugar foods do not.
First is an excellent source of dietary fiber. The average banana contains about 20 to 25 percent of the recommended daily allowance of fiber (6g). Adequate fiber in the diet is important for the prevention of Bowel Cancer.
Fruit is also a good source of other nutrients, such as potassium, which helps lower blood pressure, and flavonoids, which lower the risk of heart disease.
Studies have found that eating whole fruits (either alone or mixed with vegetables) reduces the risk of dying from cancer, obesity, and cardiovascular disease.
