Certainly CAN !
Many different means and ways to get it accomplished with items I normally carry when out in the forest. Pretty much what fits in pockets, I do not haul around a whole closet full of stuff in my backpack. If you pack it you have to haul it. NOT ME MAN ! I can make do. You HAVE to know how to do this stuff. It is the essential things you need to know, just the same as "city people" know to look out for cars.
If you spend as much time as I have all my life often 10 miles from the nearest road .... you better know some stuff. These days HA, you can take most any person drop them off on a road in a forest, tell them you'll pick them up on the next road over (just two miles away) and they would never find their way there. People have lost SO MUCH of what used to be normal. Pretty pitiful isn't it. People can't live without a furnace, electric, and having water provided. Like pets, you have to take care of them cause they can not take care of themselves.
ADDED : This is why I often just sit back and giggle at these "survivalist" in this section who worry about what they should have in their bug out bag, what they should carry if the s*** hits the fan. A ZOMBIE apocalypse. I find it comforting instead to know these guys will haul all that stuff out and end up the first to have their brains eaten by the zombies, so they can leave me all kinds of good stuff when I need to replenish. They even hauled it there FOR ME : )
Thank You guys.
