How will that solve Brexit? Eire is still in The EU. N. Ireland will be out. They are two countries. They will have to rebuild the international border crossings.

The Monarchy has nothing to do with politics. HM does not own Ireland. She doesn't even own the Crown.

    N. Ireland is predominantly Protestant. Those citizens Do NOT Want To Be Amalgamated with predominantly Catholic Eire. Winston Churchill's father Lord Randolph said "Ulster will Fight [against Home Rule in Ireland] and Ulster will be Right." Ulster may or may not be right; but she has fought and will fight against Eire and anyone who sells her to Eire. N. Ireland is Anglo-Irish. Oliver Cromwell and William of Orange Irish. Eire is Green-Irish.

It does not belong to her.

Irish unity may well become an objective for more people

It is not in the queen's remit to give parts of the union away. It would need the consent and co-operation of the majority of the citizens of N.I. There is absolutely NO evidence whatsoever, that the majority want unification of the island.

The people of Northern Ireland aren't the Queens to give, and they have a right to determine their own destiny.

She has no power to do this, and what of the people? It is their right to vote oN rejoining the Republic, and they have done this in the past and voted to stay with the U.K.
