Look at the laws in the countries with MUCH LESS GUN VIOLENCE than the ole US of A (that's, like, almost everywhere else). LIke duh. Or, just shrug and say: "Your death, your spouse's death, your childrens' deaths, your family's deaths, your friends' deaths, your fellow churchmembers' deaths, your political leaders' deaths, your first responders' deaths, and our children's and teachers' deaths at their schools by gun violence are just the price of freedom. So what? It won't matter to you after you're shot dead."
Remember: Don't blame the guns... you'll hurt their feelings. The Second Amendment granted personhood to guns: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the rights of the guns to kill people, shall not be infringed." U.S. Const. amend. II. Read it. You'll see. Or, is there something about "security" in there? How secure is a state where lots of innocent people are being shot? Must be them furriners.... All the same, them guns have rights, too.
