Any advice on how to remove metal conduit tubing and wires?

I removed a dishwasher in order to make room for a new cabinet. The problem is that the dishwasher's wiring is still there under my counter. Can I simply cut through the metal tubing and wires with a hacksaw, and then cap off whatever bits of exposed wires remain with some wire nuts? (Obviously, I would shut the power off before cutting.) Or is there a better way? I don't have a ton of tools, but I do have a hacksaw. Thanks for any suggestions!
