He may be allowed back in school, but you also may be able to get a restrainig order against him so he must stay away from you.
DOn't let anyone tell you you dfon't have a right to justice. You have every right, and the fact that you waited doesn't make it any less wrong as to what he did. You may not have as much evidence, but that also may not mean you have none. Rapists tend to brag, and chances are good he was proud of what he did to you. Chances are, someone else knows and has a text...
Go with your parents, and ask to speak to the rape crisis advocate. They will help guide you through all of it. You should be given access to a counselor, because no matter what, this will affect you later in life. Don't back don't, speak your truth, and keep doing it until something happens. You can speak to a confidential counselor at RAINN, at 1-800-656-HOPE anytime. Just make sure you say all of what you want to say to the police. Sometimes even small details can make a difference.
Use your power. Don't let anyone else tell you this doesn't matter and it's too late. What he did was wrong, and you have every right to justice, if they have enough to take to court. Just don't let them you it has gone away, because that will never be true. Be strong.
