How can I drain my garage drain that run to the outside of the garage?
I bought a 20 year old house with a clogged garage drain. Followed the drain tile - it leads to the side of my garage to the outside. After digging beside my garage to find out where it goes, it comes out 2 feet and stops. It's filled with mud and dirt (no wonder it's clogged).
How can I best remedy my draining situation to the point of not backing up? Do I put rock down a couple feet? Do I install a sump pit (but no sump pump)? Please advise.
