The fat exists for the same reason obesity does: induced liver dysfunction.
Induced bc it's caused by something you eat every day, likely all day.
You consume too much fructose. Your liver has a very limited capacity to metabolize fructose, and it's easily overwhelmed.
How's your acne?
This overwhelming causes liver dysfunction that causes your brain to think your body is starving, so it's storing instead of spending what you eat.
Fructose-induced liver dysfunction also causes the liver to create VLDL, your stubborn fat.
You get too much fructose from sugar, HFCS honey, nectar, juice, molasses, maple syrup and white flour products (most breads, crackers and pastas).
Eating too much corn-fed meat, eggs and dairy can also cause the liver dysfunction, but it's much less of a contributor than is fructose, which is in 90% of packaged foods.
Going fructose-free is not difficult except for eating out.
Mexican food is virtually fructose free.
The fructose in fruit and vegetables..
...is slowed down and regulated by the incumbent fiber.
Sugar, etc has no fiber.
Just treat fructose like alcohol.
