No. Wild cats have devastated populations and caused several species to go extinct. They're actually one of the top invasive species. They also often kill things just for fun. Whereas the person in question eats meat from animals that are not going extinct any time soon and they don't just go around killing animals for enjoyment. And I know someone's argument will be "but people have caused animals to go extinct". That's true, but the average person that dislikes a cat for that reason is not the person who's caused extinction and they probably dislike people who have just as much. If it's the devastation of wildlife you're concerned about, then it's not hypocritical. If it's just killing in general, then yes, I could see how it is hypocritical.
For the record, I've had cats my entire life and am not hating on them. Just speaking the truth. Pet cats are great but feral cats in numbers can do a lot of damage.
