Is it true God must compete with humans? Why?

No, because God is the Creator. God is Sovereign. God does not compete with humans but instead reaches down and invites us to come to Him so that our lives will have purpose and meaning. God is love, and we love because He first loved us. Jesus told his followers that they could be adopted into God's family and that we can call him "Abba" which means Father.

A father does not compete with his children, right?

If God exists, like I believe He does, then that means that He is, by definition, omnipotent, so how would a mortal compete with the omnipotent Being who is the Being who created the universe?

Theologically, the God and/or the gods are non-corporeal, supernatural beings, unlimited by time and space, of unlimited power and unlimited knowledge who are beyond the abilities of human comprehension so that humans would not be able to compete with the deities in any manner, if we assume or opine that the gods actually exist.

If the gods do not exist, then the question is moot.
