What argument? You're talking about socialism like it magically somehow actually exists. Truth is, it doesn't:
"a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole."
There's no country on Earth where the general public owns & controls everything necessary to run their national economy without any government intervention or corporate/private market activity.
More to the point, there's never been a nation like that anywhere in Human history, either.
So why a world full of dictionary-deprived dolts, dummies and dipsh*ts are forever making fools of themselves whining about an imaginary system that only exists on paper is a literal mystery.
Only thing certain is that one hell of a lot of stupid, lazy and irresponsible people don't know the difference between social programs and socialism or they wouldn't get laughed at so hard for thinking capitalist countries with social programs are magically somehow socialist.
